Cravings That Wont Quit: Jensen Ackles

Oh Jensen Ackles, if only you'd known about my massive crush on you before I got married. Maybe then we'd have had a shot. Oh well, at the very least he makes a great post for my latest 'Craving'.So manly, yet so HOT! I love the rugged vibe that you get from him.
.......yeah, H-O-T. Anyway on to the shows that I like that Jensen's appeared on.

Dark Angel

Ok, so I've never actually seen Dark Angel before, but it's one of those shows that I've always wanted to watch. Maybe it's Tad's Jessica Alba infatuation that's holding me back. He played both the role of psycho serial killer, Ben, and Ben's clone Alec who is somewhat more sane.

Dawson's Creek
I love my Joey-Pacey-Dawson triangle, but I was definitely intrigued to find Jensen Ackles as CJ one of Jen's love interests! Although I'm not a huge fan of the long hair I still have major love for Mr. Ackles.

Smallville
He moved from The Creek to Smallville where he became the love interest to Lana Lang as Jason Teague. I was really rooting for Lana and Jason until he went a little bit crazy. But who could go wrong with guys as hot as Jensen Ackles and Tom Welling!

Batman Under The Red Hood
I was watching this Batman movie with my son one day and as soon as I heard the voice of Robin I knew it had to be Jensen. It's a pretty cool movie, although it's a little bloody.

Supernatural
And then Jensen scored his starring role as Dean on Supernatural. This is where I really fell for his rugged cocky charm. I love his character on this show. He's a loyal, charming, guy's-guy who's just a tad bit screwed up. Plus he's constantly saving the world!

Here are a couple of my favorite clips from Supernatural. This one is from an episode where Dean is infected by something that makes him terrified of everything. Hahaha, I'm laughing just thinking about this clip

And this clip is a
behind-the-scenes clip that Jensen did just for fun :) Super awesome.

More Cravings: Chocolate Cake & Joshua Jackson

Ok, so I've been attacked by cravings again!
Coincidentally my cravings are chocolate and cute actors again! Who woulda though?
Craving #1
So first, I have a complaint. Why don't more restaurants have a deliciously irresistibly chocolate cake on the menu?!?!?! Outback used to have a great one, and it's no longer available! One of my current favorites is from PF Changs! Unfortunately I live in St. George where there IS NO PF Changs......sad story.

Craving #2
Joshua Jackson
So I'd venture to say that Joshua Jackson is my favorite actor. Now, I do realize that this stems from my teenage crush on him. But I stand by it.

I first met Joshua in Mighty Ducks, one of the best Trilogies of all time!

Emilio Esteves plays Gordon Bombay a former hockey player who had to quit when he suffered a career ending injury to his knee. He's now a lawyer who refuses to lose a case, even if he has to cross several lines to do it. When he has a run in with the law himself, he's sentenced to coach a kids hockey league. Let me rephrase that, the worst kids hockey league in the district.

Which is where we meet Charlie (aka Joshua) he's the captain of the sinking team. His teammates idea of a good time is filling purses with doggie poo and a dollar sticking out the side to see if anyone is dumb enough to peak inside. You can see where the funny comes in! Along the way Coach Bombay struggles to accept his new fate, and turn his mice into men. :) All 3 movies in the trilogy are awesome, and if you haven't seen them please rectify this immediately.

Urban Legend was the next movie I loved Josh in. He's not a main character, but he's my typical sarcastic bad boy. It's as horror movie focused on a college campus that's over run with just about every urban legend you can remember from high school. If you're into horror flics this is a good one!

The Skulls is my next Josh favorite. He plays Lucas MacNamara, a promising law student at an ivy league college who's worked himself ragged to get there. He knows the only way he'll ever be able to pay for his education is to give picked by the exclusive secret society, The Skulls. Unfortunately just as his dreams start to come true he discovers he's in a nightmare.

PS-added bonus to The Skulls
Paul Walker

Dawson's Creek is probably what he's best known for. Josh plays Pacey Witter, best friend to the show's namesake, Dawson. While Dawson is the well adjusted nice guy, Pacey is the poor sarcastic guy from the wrong side of the tracks who's got a hilarious sense of humor! One of my favorite things about Pacey is that no matter how many times life knocks him to the floor he gets up again to sprint for the finish line. Plus I have always swooned for bad boys who coat their soft heart with a tough shell of sarcasm & hostility.
And of course the Dawson-Joey-Pacey love triangle is a thing of legends. If you haven't watched the show I wont spoil the ending for you. I love this series, it's one I'd love to own and watch over and over!
Fringe is Josh's latest project. It's a paranormal thriller that explores some very strange mysteries. He plays Peter Bishop, son of the brilliant, and quite possibly insane, Walter Bishop. While Peter inherited his father's genius, he harbors a large grudge against him. He's pulled into the life of FBI agent Olivia Dunham who's recently discovered a new world of disturbing (and frequently disgusting) problems. So Olivia, Walter & Peter unwittingly team up and take on the good, the bad, and the just plain weird. Of course, along the way Peter finds himself falling in love with Olivia, but he's also discovering secrets about himself that are far more than disturbing. I'd say this is like X-files on crack, if it's in your wheel house you're in for a wild awesome ride!
I mean, come one, look at that picture. HOT!

So there you go, that's what's on my mind. What's on yours?

Cravings: Chocolate + Ryan Reynolds

So tonight I was craving 2 things.
#1 Chocolate
I didn't have my standard York Peppermint Pattie on hand so I went to my back up that doesn't make me feel like I'll have to run 3 miles to make it up.

Easy Homemade Chocolate covered strawberries
-Slice up some strawberries
-Heat up some Ice Cream Hot Fudge topping
-Drizzle over strawberries
-Enjoy :)

#2 Ryan Reynolds
I love Ryan Reynolds. He just might be my favorite actor. He's ridiculously handsome, hilariously funny, and unbelievably ripped.

Exhibit A

Exhibit B

My obsession started when I got my first taste of Ryan when he starred in Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place. Ryan played Michael Bergen or 'Berg' as he's known on the show. An extremely easy going pre-med college student and his two best friends Pete a neurotic architecture student and Sharon a tough girl with a soft heart. If you have never seen this show you have sorely missed out. It only ran for 4 seasons, and sadly you can't even buy it on dvd right now! So unfair.

Later I saw Ryan in Just Friends and I remembered how funny he is! The movie does have several crude parts, but as a whole it's got a good heart and is very funny! Ryan plays Chris Brander, a fat teenager who's in love with his best friend Jaime Palamino, but stuck in the friend zone. He graduates high school vowing to never be stuck in the friend zone again. It's almost painfully funny to watch, and it's pee your pants funny to see him in the fat suit!
Definitely, Maybe was my next favorite movie of his. It's a very sweet romantic comedy with him playing a loving soon to be single father. He's Will Hayes who's in the middle of a divorce who has a 10 year old daughter Maya, who's just had her first sex-ed class. Maya insists on learning how her parents met. He gives in and tells his story, but turns it into a mystery by telling 3 different love stories from his past. It's a great go-to chic flic movie!
The Proposal combines my love for Ryan Reynolds with my love for Sandra Bullock. She is one of my favorite actresses, and the combination of the two of them is fireworks! Ryan plays Andrew Paxton, executive assistant to Margaret Tate (Sandra) the boss everyone has nightmares about. Margaret also happens to be a Canadian who was too late on her paperwork and is now being deported. To stay in the country she decides to blackmail Andrew into marrying her, but she gets a little more than she bargained for when she ends up in Alaska with Andrews entire family. An awesome choice for any movie night! It's also got Oscar from the office in it, although his role might make you laugh, cry and cringe all at the same time!
The Green Lantern is an upcoming movie set to come out this June with Ryan starring as Hal Jordan aka The Green Lantern. To be honest I know very little about The Green Lantern, but I'll be sitting in that theater opening night just because of Ryan. :)

It also stars Blake Lively who I love from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

So if you didn't already love Ryan Reynolds I hope that now you do. Here's one more picture for you to look at. I know I will!
